“Entvin AI: Accelerating Pharma Compliance with Smart Automation”

Founders & Vision

Entvin AI was founded in 2022 by three IIT Bombay graduates: Sanskar Jain (Co-founder & CEO), Hemant Phalak (Co-founder & CPO), and Rishabh Arya. Jain previously led Growth & Strategy at and Me and worked in strategy consulting, while Phalak was a founding team member at fintech Zolve and an associate at PwC India.

Their shared vision

To empower regulatory teams in the life sciences sector with AI agents that streamline complex, time-consuming compliance and approval processes.

How the Idea Came & Backstory

The founders recognized the immense bottlenecks and inefficiencies in pharmaceutical regulatory workflows, especially around FDA approvals. With drug approval processes often taking years and costing millions, even small inefficiencies could delay life-saving treatments and impact business outcomes. Drawing on their experience in tech, consulting, and regulated industries, they set out to build a platform that automates document drafting, compliance verification, and regulatory monitoring—tasks that typically consume thousands of hours of expert time.

How They Reached Here

Starting in Bengaluru and San Francisco, Entvin AI leveraged advanced large language models fine-tuned for regulatory documentation and FDA compliance. Their platform quickly found traction with enterprise pilot customers, who reported saving hundreds of hours and improving compliance accuracy—a critical need in an industry where mistakes can be extremely costly. The team grew to nine employees and built a robust database of supplier documents, patents, synthesis routes, and market intelligence, serving both regulatory and supply chain teams in pharma and chemicals.Milestones & GrowthIn April 2025, Entvin AI raised $500,000 (approx. ₹5 crore) in seed funding from Y Combinator, one of the world’s most selective startup accelerators (0.1% acceptance rate). The platform has launched out of beta and is expanding its AI capabilities and global customer base, targeting mid-to-large pharmaceutical companies.Early enterprise customers have validated the platform’s ability to save time, reduce errors, and accelerate regulatory timelines—potentially saving millions in compliance costs and getting treatments to patients faster.

Where They Are Now

Entvin AI is active in both India and the US, with a growing team and a strong focus on expanding its AI-driven regulatory solutions for pharma and life sciences. Their mission is to become the go-to platform for regulatory automation, helping companies navigate compliance, accelerate approvals, and reduce operational bottlenecks while ensuring data security and confidentiality.

In Short: Entvin AI, founded by Sanskar Jain, Hemant Phalak, and Rishabh Arya, is streamlining the world’s most complex regulatory workflows for life sciences. With cutting-edge AI, strong early traction, and Y Combinator backing, they’re on track to transform how pharma companies manage compliance and bring new treatments to market
